Så var det slut på sommaren och jag inser att jag under en lång tid misskött denna Loggbok. Vid terminsstart är det alltid många järn i elden och bland andra uppgifter så gör jag i min egenskap av så kallad ämnesföreträdare lite sammanställningar av verksamheten. Bra att ha inför kommande ansökningar. Då inser jag att vi så långt har jobbat på bra på den psykologiska institutionen vid Karlstads universitet. Licentiatuppsatser och doktorsavhandlingar

 

1. Fredrik Hjärthag lade fram sin licentiatuppsats 090306 med titeln ”Assessing Family Burden of Psychotic Illness in Clinical Practice”.

 

2. Lars Helldin lade fram sin doktorsavhandling 090605 med titeln “The importance of Remission in the Treatment of Patients with Schizophrenia Spectrum Syndromes. Clinical Long-term Investigation of Psychosis in Sweden”.

 

 

Antagning av nya doktorander

 

Under 2009 har fem nya doktorander, samtliga extern finansierade, antagits till forskarutbildningen:

* Charlotte Bäccman: Den mentala hälsan inför, under och efter deltagande i internationella militära operationer

* Elizabeth Ekman: KBT-terapi i anslutning till Aspergers syndrom

* Maria Fors: Motivation och tillit under stress och prestation i samband med internationella militära operationer. Effekter på den mentala hälsan

* Lars Helldin: Schizofreni och remission

* Mats Niklasson: Sensomotorisk terapi

 

Det innebär att vi nu (efter ovan nämnda disputation) sammanlagt har 14 doktorander varav 2 är inriktade på konsumentpsykologi (persontransporter) och 12 har som inriktning prestation, stress och klinisk psykologi

 

 

Summering

 

Under 2009 har hittills vid institutionen för psykologi bland annat följande utförts:

 

  • 18 artiklar har publicerats eller blivit accepterade i vetenskapliga tidskrifter med reviewförfarande
  • Ett 15-tal artiklar är under granskning
  • 7 böcker/bokkapitel har publicerats
  • 17 konferenspapper har presenterats vid internationella konferenser
  • 3 postrar har presenterats vid internationella konferenser
  • 1 doktorsavhandling och 1 licentiatuppsats har antagits
  • 5 nya doktorander har antagits och skrivits in på forskarutbildningen

 Visst måste man väl kunna säga att det är en ganska bra insats under ett knappt år för en liten institution på ett litet universitet?
